As we go into the final Minneapolis City budget mark-up for fiscal year 2009, I think the magic word today would have to be assumptions.
Most people in Minneapolis have NO idea how IRV works and unfortunately the pushers of it NEVER explained why they "loved it". Perhaps one of them could tell us why they think it is better than just voting for who you want to vote for. Other than IRV being cool and politically correct.
Framework For the Future
In the last couple of weeks, there has been a lot of controversy over the future of NRP, or the Neighborhood Revitalization Program. This controversy stems from two areas in Minneapolis' proposed "Framework For The Future".
