On Saturday August 22nd, I had the opportunity to tour a few gardens around Minneapolis as parade of community gardens was held in 40 different locations between 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
All I can say is every garden I visited had people with wonderful stories to tell, beautiful gardens to show with each and everyone of them showcasing a product that was done with a lot of hard work and even more labor of love.

Powderhorn East Community Garden, Artstop, South Hawthorne Community Garden, Columbus Avenue Community Garden, and one that was not on the list Historic Hawthorne Gardens.
