Today Governor Tim Pawlenty sent a letter to President Barack Obama, responding to the President’s request for health care reform solutions.
Governor Pawlenty urged President Obama to invite governors to be part of the health care reform discussion. The Governor also offered common sense reforms, including initiatives he has implemented in Minnesota, such as incentivizing state employees to choose high-quality, lower-cost clinics and paying providers based on better outcomes, rather than just on the number of procedures performed.
